Dr. Funmilola Olubunmi Omotayo

Dr. Funmilola Olubunmi Omotayo is a lecturer at the Africa Regional Centre for Information Science (ARCIS), University of Ibadan, Nigeria. She obtained her Bachelor's degree in Botany from the University of Ibadan in 1992, Master's degree in Information Science from the University of Ibadan in 1997, Master of Business Administration degree from the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile Ife, Nigeria in 2001. She also obtained her Doctoral degree in Information Science from the University of Ibadan in 2005.

Dr. Omotayo is an Associate Member Nigerian Institute of Management (Chartered); Associate Member Institute of Corporate Treasurers and Accountants; Member, Nigerian Women in Information Technology; and Member, Forum for African Women Educationalists, Nigeria (FAWEN).

Her teaching/research interests include: Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs), Information marketing, Social and ethical issues in information technology, Information technology training design and implementation, ICT and the Society, Knowledge organisation and management, Information Policy, e-banking, e-commerce, and has published articles in local and international journals.
