Application Procedures

Applicants to the different Membership Categories of SISN must follow the following procedures.

Step 1: Application

  1. Download, complete, affix a passport photo, and sign the SISTN Application Form.
  2. Scan and save in PDF format (1) the completed Application Form; (2) photocopies of all certificates for the educational qualifications as listed in the application form (mandatory for all applications); (3) photocopies of evidence of professional/work experiences (e.g. letters of appointment) as listed in the application form (mandatory for Associate Member and SISTN Fellow applications); (4) two-page Curriculum Vitae of the applicant;
  3. Get ready your curriculum vitae of not more than five (5) pages in PDF format.
  4. Get ready your passport photograph in JPEG format.
  5. Send an email stating your full names, physical address, your phone number and a statement of your intention, accompanied by the files in (b) to (d) above, to both [email protected] and  [email protected] (Your email will be acknowledged within 72 hours).

Step 2: Approval
The Application for Membership Assessment Committee (AMAC) which meets monthly will consider your application and communicate its decision and any recommendations within one month of receipt of your email. The Committee may approve or reject your application, or recommend your admission to a lower Membership category than you applied for, in which case you are required to email your accept or rejection of the recommendation.
 
Step 3: Payment of Fees

  1. When you receive an email communicating approval of your application to a Membership category, send an email accepting the decision immediately to both [email protected] and  [email protected] (Your email will be acknowledged within 72 hours).
  2. Pay the Membership and Annual fees Membership and Annual fees appropriate to the Membership category approved for you into the following SISTN bank account:

  1. After making the appropriate payment, you should email details of the payment along with scanned copy of the cash/cheque teller or payment instrument or instructions to both [email protected] and [email protected] stating your full names, physical address and phone number. (Your email will be acknowledged within 72 hours).

Step 4: Confirmation and Certification

Your payment will be verified by the SISTN Account Department and, after being confirmed, you will be issued with a membership number and a SISTN Membership Certificate for your approved Membership category. You will receive a PDF copy of your membership certificate within one month, and the
